We went through that with Luna too, I never thought she would go into heat since she's so small, but I was WRONG

Anyway, I don't think that Teddy will be interested in her until she's actually fertile, which occurs sometime around 10 days after their first bleeding day. I'm not 100% on that, so you may want to ask down at the Breeder board. I didn't have to worry, since we have no males, but you should prepare to keep them separated really soon
I think that they do get cramps, though there's not much you can do about that. She might become extra clingy, or she might want to be alone. Just follow her cues and she'll tell you what she wants
