Thanks, ours is 100 gal. and is a great size for freshwater. If you want to go with saltwater though, a larger tank would be better. As with yorkies there are fish forums and lots of good information on the internet.
When you first start out buy cheap fish because most likely a few will die getting your tank seeded. LOL...I pass that on to you, as it was to us, although - one of our "trash" fish is now 4 years old and outlived many of the more expensive fish. Wouldn't you know it and he is ugly too!
Another hint - you can go and spend thousands at the pet places for aquariums, if your budget minded though - check newspaper want ads. People want to sell them all of the time and some really good deals are out there.
