There is no lead in pencils anymore... There is actually more lead in the paint on a yellow pencil than there is in the pencil core. It is made from graphite
This pencil had green paint so I think it's okay.
Actually, I thought about lead poisoning since this pencil came from europe. I didn't know if they made pencils with graphite, or still with lead. Dad and I did a google on it, and it is just graphite.
I've been watching him and he doesn't seem to be in pain or anything. I will call the vet if I notice anything. I am worried about the splinters passing through his system. Can they stab him do you think? It's been about 2o minutes... I wonder if it would be mostly through by now???
The neighbors are going to think I've lost a screw when they see me outside examining poo in the morning!
