Sounds like moisture is under the paint and it lost adhesion...did someone use the shower in between coats, was the first coat completely dry?...you may have to scrape and sand the bubbles and reprime the walls...let it dry and see what you have to deal with...I'd hate to be the lucky one to tackle this job....
