Ours now will eat within 1 foot of each other, and don't eat each other's food at all. We have the same bowls/dishes for each of them, except different colors so we can tell them apart. They are so good about it that we make them both "sit", then put the food down, then say "ok!" and walk away, and they will eat their own food!
