Pull her out. No questions asked. I have no tolerance for adults that allow children to watch them engage in unsafe behaviors, let alone bring home the butts and mimick them.
I used to work in daycares, as well as be a fulltime nanny for several families. There is no way I would expose a child (ESPECIALLY one that wasn't my own) to anything that might be detrimental to her health, nor would I allow them to see me smoking (if I smoked).
I would write a letter to your provider explaining why you were taking her out of daycare, and insist it was effective immediately. They should give you any money back for daycare that you've prepaid without a question. |
