I agree Selina, that was a great explanation to your granddaughter.
When I lost my first yorkie (RIP Shorty) I always thought I saw him. I would reach out to pet him at night in bed. It was so incredibly hard. I knew he was sick and wasn't going to get better. I got Otis a few months before he passed away. I still miss my little Shorty dog, his pictures are all over my house. I can't wait to hear about your new baby!!!
