A yorkie has to have the right genetics for straight hair. Your baby has genes for some waviness to his coat. Lacy has very straight hair but my parents yorkie has a more cottony coat that tends to get some wave to it too when it gets longer. When I have bathed him before I am able to comb his hair while blowdrying and get it pretty straight but the waves will come back by the next day.
