 Need help
My fiancee has a yorkie that she has had for a few years. From what I understand, the Yorkie does not like men as a general rule. Now, when she is around, the dog will bark and carry on if I pass by her area. When she is away on a trip or gone for any length of time, the dog will hide in it's carrier and only come out when no one is present to eat and poop/pee. The dog has tried to bite me and several other caretakers a number of times, but my fiancee loves the dog. What can I do to allow the dog to become better acclimated to me and not feel as threatened?
