Patti, I hope Pixie is doing better today.
I didn't see your thread last night.
But on "Good Friday" of this year, Rudy ate a little bit of a silcone pack. The pack was still there but I'd say 1/2 of the insides were gone. I called the ASPCA poison control hotline because I didn't think our vet would be in that day. My Rudy weighs 14.5 lbs and the vet I talked to there said that the crystal like beads inside the packs aren't poisonious and since I still had the pack in my hand, the beads will come out in his poop. The vet did say, if Rudy had eaten the pack, that could cause an obstruction and that could lead to a problem. It didn't seem to effect Rudy at all. I was sure scared though.
Sorry you had to go thru the same thing, but Pixie is so much smaller than Rudy, so I'm sure I would have done the same thing you did.
