Everyone gets postal mail. Its not that expensive and they provide tracking and insurance for a small fee. They have many ways to ship too. If your box is very heavy I would use parcel post, but it will take longer to get where it is going. Usually unless its very heavy, you could ship priority mail for just a few cents more then first class and it gets there in 2 to 3 days. As far as packing, use what ever is the lightest. Bubble wrap is great it doesn't weigh anything! I think if you decorate the box that will just make it even more exciting. Don't forget a picture of your pup to send along with the presents!
