I have two Yorkies...Betty-9 months old and Juju-17 weeks old. I read about the different kinds of coats, but still have a question. Betty's eyes shine red (so I figured she would have a cottony coat) but she has a very soft coat that does NOT mat at all. Juju's (the puppy) eyes shine green. So, I thought, "Good, a silky-haired girl!" Well, Juju's hair gets matted underneath!! Is it because she is still a pup? I thought she would be a breeze to groom...but so far...
