Rudy is much more independent than Lucky.
Rudy loves to greet me when I get home from work, but after the initial "greet" he's on to something else. Lucky, my Shih Tzu, is the same way when I come home, but he will wait for me to pick him up and love on him and then he's off to something else. When I'm on the computer at home, Lucky will be laying right beside me. Heck, Rudy is in the living room playing with his toys doing whatever. I think Lucky would be in the bathroom with me when I shower if he could, but it's on the 2nd floor and he doesn't know how to go up steps.
