Thank you all for the suggestions and much needed advice. I am picking him up tomorrow. I have an X pen and a crate as well. I think I will need to carry him from room to room with me also, he is like glue! I won't return to work until Tuesday and I will have a friend come by several times a day. Thanks for the scarf idea to prevent weight bearing-I didn't think of that at all!
I believe he will come home with an antibiotic and pain meds. I'll post on Friday after he comes home.
