No matter what I do, Hoku's ears flop. Kalani is almost 8 months and I still have to keep his ears trimmed or one will flop also.
I don't use the comb guide when I trim their ears, I just put my finger behind the ear as I shave it. Do be careful when you trim the edges, I use scissors for that part - I've heard their ears bleed like crazy if nicked.
