Marcerella & Yorkiedaze were great helps to me when I started homecooking! I've been doing it for about a month, and it's going well! My dogs love it, and it's a lot easier and cheaper than I imagined it would be. I too use Dr. Pitcairn's book as the direction for homecooking for dogs. He recommends feeding meat raw if your dog will eat it that way, so that's what we do.
So far they've had oatmeal w/ground turkey and peas, hamburger and rice with sweet potatoes, brown rice and kidney beans with carrots, and barley, beef and veggies. They love it! |
