Default floppy ears

Thank you both for the responses. I guess it's ok with me as well. I don't need people to give compliment on my yorkies anyway, as long as floppy ears aren't related to the puppy's poor health. Standing up ears do look healthier than drooping ears though. It's good for me to know that it might have to do with teething. Talking about trimming the top 1/3 hair of the ear. Is my puppy going to be fine if I used electric clipper with guiding comb? Will I actually risk the danger of cutting her ears? Please don't bother to give me lots of instructions if this is a complicated question.
