I played the HRT game for a year after my hysterectomy (in 2002, I was 34) and just said "screw it" and went cold turkey. I have been happy ever since, though I don't have much of a sex drive. The hot flashes and night sweats have tapered off to almost never, too. Breast cancer runs in my family and I would rather have no sex drive than get cancer.
