Please, dear God, work your miracles and help this child who is one of your own. We love her and need her and pray that not only will her life be spared, but that her wounds will be healed and she will be as we have always known her. If it is your will that she be other than we remember, please help us to accept and understand your intentions for all of us in this sad story..
