i also use Dr. Pitcairn's book, but i modify things a bit... we are travelling at the moment (in SSM to visit family) and i took a freezer pack in a cooler and just brought 3 bags of already frozen food with me. however if we are travelling from Canada to the US we use dog food.. Layla gets Fromms. Although travelling isn't too hard with homecooking. she sometimes gets grilled chicken from McDonalds or egg or cheese.. it is easier than you think!!!
