Getting flyers out there where they will be most effective! Lauren you are so right, however, I do not think it is a good idea for Maureen to be going house to house alone.
I have asked her to please get in touch with the man that has been such a big help to her so far, and see if he would be willing to go with her so she can pass out flyers in that block, then the area where the grandmother is supposed to be.
She is willing to get the police involved, however Officer Nickerson does not seem to be in the office. I asked her to call and find out when he will be back on duty, as he is the only one who is in charge of her case, and the only one given permission to work on it. She thinks he works Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. Which is good for us, as that is off time for almost everyone and maybe the grandmother will come over to visit her son with Tahoe.
I know from the very bottom of my heart, gut, and soul that we have ZEKE, kids don't lie, and he said that is Tahoe, when he looke at the picture. Everything is coming together to get this little boy home. We are so close, I really don't think their will be a problem when we get the police involved, and Maureen has to be with him when he goes to the house. She is the only one who can identify her dog!!!!!!!! She agrees, and will make sure is is with the officer when he goes to the door to question the boy and his father, than find out where the childs grandmother lives. He should have a search warrent with him. So he has access to the houses that Zeke could be in. I so wish this was Fri. However, we could use this time to pass out more flyers in the neighborhood's where the son and father live, than where the grandmother might be, he did give street names, and thats where the flyers should go. It would give them a couple of days to turn the puppy over, and collect the reward, the grandmother can not keep him hidden forever. |
