I didn't get up and walk around. It all depends on how long you labor as well.

I am not a fan of any sort of unnecessary drugs especially not something that can paralyze me. I never never took any even for my first delivery. I had a friend here at work whose sister recently had the epi and was left paralyzed for six weeks post delivery because of it. I also have friends that have had it that now complain of back problems and pains in the epi site so I know for sure that totally natural was for me. I am not trying to sell you on it or scare you away from an epi. The choice is definitely yours but personally for me I wanted to experience what was to come and be totally in control while in labor/delivery. Mind you my last two deliveries were breech babies and I did it all natural with no drugs. I have to say it was not bad at all.
