A lot of times we sit down (I do this alot) and cross our legs at the knees and that is very very bad for someone to do even if you are not pregnant. It puts a load of pressure on your lower back.
While these suggestions won't cure the sciatica it will help to ease the situation.
Another good tip...sooner or later you wont' be able to sleep very comfortably. I usually purchase a ton of pillows and set myself up in an almost sitting position to sleep...it really helps.
Another big big must is to drink water. You need the water to keep your muscles hydrated. That also eases a lot of tightness in them.
That doggie stretch is very comy..it's also used in a lot of deliveries to take the pressure off of your back and ease labor pains. |
