well one time when I tried to bleach my hair, I didn't leave it on long enough and it turned orange. I was on my way to Florida to watch my husband graduate from Navy flight school so there I was with orange hair. Then decided to go brown (I'm really a dishwater blonde) and it turned green! I've also been red...doesn't go with my skin color
All this was in the days before it was fashionable to have hair in all colors.
