I always use something where my girl can put her head on so it´s much more comfortable to her. I would start too with putting only a latex band in the hair. If he´s used to it you can start with the bow. Take a bow for babies at the begining, they are smaller than the one´s for adults. It easier too, if you first put in a latex band and than the bow. And be careful that you don´t put it on too tight.
