 Our English summer
What an absolute nightmare this one is turning into.
At least we're lucky up here & have not got the floods, feel so sorry for all those thousands of people having to cope with waist high water in their homes, no power & now no clean drinking water apart from whatever bottled water they are allowed, & they say it could be weeks before it can be on again.
I read today that Severn water has refused to supply bottled water to kennels.
Here on the moors we just have the torrential rain to cope with. I can't recall one dry day in the last six weeks, it's pouring down again today. We have three large reservoirs on the edge of our village that are full to the brim. |
