Hi, I too seem to have found your post too late.
Welcome anyway, even if you decide now not to stay.

I have two Skye Terriers as well as my three Yorkies & a cat, they all get on fine together. My oldest Yorkie who's 12 is definately in control & keeps the Skyes in line. We also have geese, ducks & poultry & live high on the moors in Lancashire.

At the moment they're playing tug-of-war with one of my old socks, one of the Skyes on one end & the two youngest Yorkies, 10 months & a very small 5 month old, on the other & even though the Skye is dragging them round the room they won't give up

Good luck with your recue greyhound. I hope you come & tell us how he/she settles. We adopted a rescued Old English Sheepdog several years ago, when we already had another one. She had been very badly neglected which had left her with lots of problems, she wouldn't even make eye contact & was very destructive at first . It took a long time to win her trust.
