I can't believe the crap people will do for fast money!! I guess "people" is the wrong word for them. I saw another similar story on the news one nite, back in early June, and I was sick to my stomach. The people had a video cam on the room so they could make sure the pups were doing ok when they were in another part of the house or away from the home. The man and woman were caught b/c of that video setup and said they tried to pull this off b/c they needed money for food. Yea, right!!
So very sad!! How awful for something like that to happen to good, dog-loving people. Sure must make some people who breed their beautiful dogs, wonder if something like this could happen to them, too.
