Hi Margot,
Yes, I can tell you all their bags are sturdy and well built. The bag itself is very sturdy, including the bottom. In addition, they have a removable padded cushion that provides more strenth, comfort and can be washed if it gets dirty. My Zoe falls asleep when she gets tired in these bags and has no problem. Banks will not get 'wobbily' in it if that's what you're concerned about...the big difference between a doggy carrier and a regular purse, it can with-stand some weight to hold the dog.
