So after looking (at the time I wanted a Shih) I didn't care to spend what he was asking. He then tells me hold on I am sure I have something in your price range. He then proceeded to call down to someone in the basement or wherever and they bring up a pup. I wasn't all that impressed with the baby or the operation. He then told me he could get me any type of pup I wanted within a day or two in whatever price range I was looking for.
Now if that doesn't scream of broker then I don't know what. I then proceeded to question him about parents and he was like they are owned by various family members and friends...but I couldn't get more info other than they are well cared for. Might I also add that being as he lives in Brooklyn I have no damn idea where he houses all these pups. You are living in the city and I am sure that NY has some ordinances about Kennels and how many dogs you can have. He has a good number of dogs stores in the basement or back since he was willing to bring out a procession of dogs to give me my choice depending on my price range.
Anyhow I high tailed it out of there and didn't buy a thing from them. He personally gave me the creeps...seemed like an undertaker. |
Screams broker to me that's for sure. IT also screams puppy mill puppies - and for that I'm sorry for the dogs left behind. Funny how these people put the cute expensive dogs up front and kick the others to the curb

what bugs me is he can offer to get any kind of dog yet 'claim' he's a breeder ?
