I'd say if it's an older lady and all she has is the two then he is full yorkie, just not one most people look for. Yorkies come in all sizes, shapes, hair color etc. I look at a lot of pictures of yorkies and some of them just aren't the type I'd buy. Longer snouts, bigger bodies, floppy ears, shorter sparse hair, etc.
I paid twice what you're paying for my girl and I have one picked out that's even way more than that but to me it's worth it to get a shorter nose, good quality coat, a face that I find attractive. I don't think your little one will turn out looking like what you see on the cover of a Yorkie magazine but I do believe he is full yorkie.
If you love him, buy him...if you think you'll be disappointed because he's not going to be as pretty as most then don't. Save up a little more and get a different one. I don't think this lady is trying to swindle you, I just think she's a poor quality backyard breeder(but that doesn't make her a liar) |
