First, I just want to apologize for not keeping up with postings of Lexie's litter that was born Tues., July 17. Many of you PMed me and questioned their health and I just want to assure everyone that all 7 puppies are doing very well, growing and keeping Lexie busy. Lexie is the BEST!! I do not supplement the puppies at all. She is feeding all the babies herself. I do weigh them everyday and am keeping an eye on the three smaller ones, but I just make sure that the 3 get an "alone" nursing time once or twice a day. I continue to have Lexie on high caloric, calcuim meals, 5 or 6 meals a day. She also has dry food and water available all day. Here are a few pictures. Pictures are very hard to take....one of them is always hiding, but I will continue to try. Again, to all of you that have send wishes, and prayers for our group. They are loved so much here!!
