I can't sleep. I'm just laying on my bed with my laptop on my lap and my 3 furkids around me and my fiancee snoring in the other corner and of course I cannot get myself to sleep. I packed her food for tomorrow after surgery cause I know my girl is going to be hungry since she had to fast.
I need to get up in 5 hrs to get ready for work and get her ready as well.
I'm looking at her tiny face.....she is just so beautiful. Now I'm just excited. Tonight is the last night that I will feel her wild heart
I educated myself about this condition and I know that in the future I will be able to help educate someone else if needed. I really want to create a website about her condition (dont know how though) because when I was looking for info when I first found out I didn't see much until 3 hrs of searching that I came across a website about a little yorkie name Elvis. Elvis and his mommy inspired me and after reading her story I then knew there was a chance for my girl. Whats great about this is that Becky (Elvis's mom) and I communicate via email and she has been very imformative and supportive. There is also another YT member here Chrissy that gave me contact info to her friend Rachel that had a baby with the same problem and she has been very supportive and imformative as well. Rachel doesn't live to far from me and when Lilly is completely recovered her and I are going to get our girls together. Elvis (now 5 yrs old) & Skyla have recovered completely and are living normal lives now. The only difference is that Lilly doesn't have heart damage and Elvis and Skyla did so their recovery was a little longer and they also both had the surgical procedure and Lilly is having the newer procedure done where they place a coil in the artery and the recovery is much quicker. I've met 2 great ppl that has gone through the same thing I'm going through and I'm glad to have them here just as much I'm glad to have all you yt'ers in my life. God Bless! I'm going to try to get some sleep now.
