Well, unless you told your neighbor that she was a purebred yorkie then what she did was entirely rude. Some people are just snotty like that.
I know that I've had friends that have considered spending $1,000+ for yorkies that looked like they were mixed with something and I told them exactly what I thought about the dog they wanted to buy....BUT, that is for a friend and only when my opinion was asked. I also had a friend that repeatedly pointed out that my MIL's chihuahua wasn't a pure chihuahua. Um, hello...she only paid $100 for her and she KNEW she wasn't a purebred. Some just like to throw it in your face...as if to make themselves feel superior.
You love your furbaby and that's all that matters. It wasn't like you spent thousands on her...she was a precious gift from your uncle. Dismiss your neighbor and her ignorance. She's the one missing out on getting to know such a sweet pup! |
