I guess some people are very elitist and anthing less than perfect isn't good enough. Personally, I don't give a damn about pure-bred vs mixed.
In my case, I needed a purebreed as I'm highly allergic to all other dogs I've encountered. Miraculously, I have no issues with yorkies. But I was afraid that a yorkie mix might still make me sick so I had no choice. But if it wasn't for allergies, I probably would have brought home one of the many yorkie mixes from a rescue. |
