I would encourage you to check out all the services -- Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard and the Coast Guard too. I was in the Navy for 22 years and am very thankful for every year .... maybe not every day. Seriously, it was one of my best decisions, providing both a rewarding career and secure life for my family.

Think of what you are looking to get out of the service, think what you can bring to the service and then pick which one will match best with your needs and attributes. But, even when deciding on a Reserve or Guard component -- fully understand the potential for active duty, including some hazardous and arduous assignments. It can be difficult, but it is very much worth it! Best wishes in your decision.
