My first experience buying a Yorkie (Muffin) was a good one although the breeder has never kept in contact with me. I actually didn't know anything about YorkieTalk then and I found the breeder via the internet. She did send one picture of Muffin before shipping her to me. We spoke on the phone a couple of time before and after the sale because I had questions. I received Muffin's papers within a few weeks.

Muffin is a beautiful dog and has a great temperment. I know the breeder puts out great dogs and has a large breeding program. That is probably why she doesn't keep in touch with all the people who buy her dogs.

I would have no qualms about buying another dog from her but would like more of a personal touch.

The experience I had with CoCo's breeder was an OUTSTANDING one. First of all I found her through YorkieTalk which was a plus. We had many, many conversations before I got CoCo. She also sent me pictures and videos galore.

I flew to Kansas City, Mo to meet the breeder who drove 3 hours to meet me there with the puppy. We hit it off immediately and have become friends. She cried her eyes out when she handed me the dog. I knew how difficult it was for her to part with CoCo. Her dogs are VERY important to her and she raises them in her home like they are her children. She is a wonderful person and we correspond all the time and I know that she will forever care about CoCo and also be a life-long friend.
