You can put some boiled hot/warm water in with the dogfood, let it cool a bit and when the food is soaked, warm and yummy feed it to him. That is how you get a healthier "wet food".

But it is better I think to feed the dry food dry because it helps with keeping the tartar at a minimum so there is another way to get the dogs to eat slower.

You can put a cup upside down in the middle of the bowl so the dog has to eat around the object. You can also use other things for ex. a rock (but it has to be big enough so the dog can not swallow it).
One of my dogs did eat so fast at one time that she would throw up the food soon after eating, so to slow her down I did this and it worked like a charm!
Then after a while I stopped and she would continue to eat more slowly.
