I've shipped international quite a bit, and actually it's NOT always close in price
I shipped one thing to New Zealand, shipping was $36 - shipped another thing that was almost the SAME WEIGHT to Quebec Canada, shipping was $6.86. Of course, New Zealand is ALOT further - but still
Got there quick though! I ALWAYS ship Airmail Priority (and the international buyers usually always prefer it) and that one package actually got to New Zealand pretty dang quick! I was very surprised.
You can actually check International shipping online at usps.com as well, which it seems like alot of people don't know about...it's SO much easier than having to take it to the P.O.
