Thanks for your answer. However, I took her and the "thing" to work, and I showed it to a lady I know would know what it was. Cuz it did not seem to have blood. She said that it appeared to be an Elm beetle. She wasn't sure, but she said it was not a tick. Sophie does have a sore on her ear that I washed and put neosporin on, but she is fine. I freaked too soon. Thanks for your help.
