Do you have friends or co-workers you can ask to make recommendations? Definitely your vet is a good place to turn to. Have you checked to see if someone else on YT lives near you and might know of a good place to board?

I had a horrid experience at a kennel here in Des Moines - Greenbelt Kennels - they cost me the life of my beloved female Bichon. Yes, that's right they essentially killed my dog! They did not give her enough water and she went into kidney failure - so be careful!!
But just last month, I was in the same prediciment as you. I was traveling to Nashville & wanted to board the dogs there. I searched and searched to find a good fit. So I wish you luck.
Also, maybe look for someone who can come to your home, or maybe a friend knows someone who would take your dogs in.
