To some extent, it is upsetting when some people's attitude towards dogs change when they discover they're not purebreed. It's so discriminating. Either way, besides the slight rant, I actually wanted to know more about the opinions of other dog owners/breeders regarding mixed/pure breeds.
I understand that mixing some breeds could change their behavior or even complicate health issues, but would it be possible to have more positive effects, such as canceling out some of the health issues that yorkshires face?
But I guess even with positive traits it all depends on the physical appearance
as for red98vett's comment on caged furry animals, yes. My hamster has some kind of inhuman strength to get out of its cage and we'd sometimes lose her in the house just to find her in the back of the TV chewing up some component cables.
