If you check your puppies ears and there is an overabundance of hair close to an in the ear canal, pull it out. Let's put it this way...at first they don't like it, but they do get use to it. Heck! do you like to tweeze your eyebrows. Not fun, but we do it for cosmetic purposes. Pulling the excess hair from your pups ears is done for healthy ears to prevent infection.

Some dogs don't need it at all.
