Healthy pups get docked at 3-5 days. Your vet won't dock the tail on the pup you are tube feeding. They have to be healthy and strong for this procedure. Talk to the vet, he may do it later or you may end up with a long tail. If you do end up with a long tail, count it as a blessing...it will be a rememberance of all of your hard work, love and dedication.
