We have used the stream for barking only. The biting thing was cured by "taking her down", which was what our puppy class instructor suggested. What we did was take our hand, when she was biting, and put her on her side with with hand on her head. She had to lay on her side for a few seconds. It was done very quickly, just as she began biting. It worked well. The instructor said that this is what the mother dog will do to her puppy when it bites.
