I had trouble getting Lacy's old console seat to fit right on my console. It fit but it just didn't fit right. The console seat is supposed to be up to 4lbs. Lacy is 7 and just fit in it but it was really a little small for her. You might like the one that sits in the seat and is bigger better than the console. The console seat wouldn't work other than on a console because of the way the bottom is shaped. I would try to find one in a local dog boutiqe so you can see it in person and try it in your car before you buy one just to make sure it fits right.
