Thanks for the kind words everyone.....I talked to the vet today.
Tini is not taking the Rimadyl....too risky...besides she is not acting like she is in pain. She is resting a bunch and is supposed to stay off her feet, so I have just been cuddling with her and holding her and carrying her wherever I go. When I am not holding her, she is in the crate (which she is not thrilled about) which is the only way I can keep her off her feet.

The vet has agreed that we will try to take the xrays first without the anesthesia, but since Tini squirms around so much this may not work. I am glad the vet is working with me and at least to me she is not acting like I am totally crazy. Who cares what she really thinks. I think better safe than sorry.

I hope someone out there posts who has had their dog go through the surgery, I have been reading the internet and don't really know what to think. It says the recovery period can be months...I hope not. Poor Tini.

Thanks everyone for your advice and support. Tini is happing knowing all her YT pals are thinking of her.
