I am the same way as Mardelin pointed out. I never advertise individual puppies. My site says something along the lines of "feel free to contact me to inquire when I MAY have puppies available"
That way, it gives me the option to ask my list of questions before I ever mention what I may have.
The first question when I get a call is usually "hi i was wondering if you had any puppies available?" and my response usually starts out along the lines of "hi, thanks for your consideration of me, may I start out by asking you a few questions?" And I go from there. |
