I have read both sides and I am sorry this happened to all involved. I guess if looking for a future stud I would have not bought a pup that had been a " mistake " line breeding in the first place. Did a vet ( mabey a second vet opinion too )
ever say for a fact that these seizures were being caused by a genetic or medical problem or was it still in question what caused the seizures? If it was in fact a genetic or medical problem I feel the buyer should have been refunded the money and the pup returned ( or kept if the seller said ok) Bad things can happen when breeding dogs, but I think it's how the breeder handles the problems that makes or breaks a breeders reputation. Sorry, I don't mean to stir things up again. |
