Ihave had people yell at me threaten me etc so now I just don't admit to having anything for sale until I do some interviewing first. I don't advertise so it is easy to do.

It's awful to have people threaten you. Its a right to be as picky and screen whichever way we see fit, but the people who don't seem to understand our concerns about the puppies aren't the type of home I would want one of my puppies to go too anyways. Prescreeing is a great idea and I'm going to start doing that.
